Dr. Charles A. Rarick is Professor of International Business in the School of Management at Purdue University Calumet. He has also lectured at the University of the Philippines, Instituto Tecnologico y Estudios Superiores de Monterrey ITESM in Mexico, Romanian-American University in Bucharest, EAFIT in Colombia, Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand, Sebelas Maret University in Indonesia, the Asian Institute of Management in Manila, the International University of Business and Economics in Beijing, and the Yangon Institute of Economics where he served as a Fulbright Senior Specialist to Myanmar. Dr. Rarick received his Ph.D. from Saint Louis University and he is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resource Management as well as an Accredited Lecturer in Intercultural Management. He is a member of the Academy of International Business, International Case Studies Academy, the North American Case Research Association, and the Society for the Advancement of Management. Dr. Rarick is on the editorial review board Advanced Management Journal, theJournal of the International Academy of Case Studies, Global Journal of Management and Business Research, and Journal of International Business Research. He is also the author of Cases and Exercises in International Business, Cases and Exercises in International Management, Cases in Business and Public Policy: An International Focus, and The Confucian Advantage. He has conducted case field research in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Cambodia, Thailand, Kuwait, Brunei, Abu Dhabi, Macau, and in the Bahamas. Dr. Rarick was also the 2006-2007 Fulbright Distinguished Lecturer to the Philippines and a Fulbright Scholar to the Philippines in 2011. He was selected again to be a Fulbright Specialist, to Indonesia, in 2013.


Dr Bhuvan Unhelkar (BE, MDBA, MSc, PhD; FACS; CBAP®) has more than two decades of strategic as well as hands-on professional experience in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) industry. As an Associate Professor at USFSM, he leads the IT department in the College of Business. Founder and Consultant at MethodScience he has mastery in Business Strategies, Business Analysis & Requirements Modeling, (including Negotiations & Facilitation Skills), Software Engineering (UML, Object Modeling), Agile Processes (CAMS), Quality Assurance, Big Data Strategies, Collaborative Web Services (SOA), Mobile Business and Green IT. His domain experience includes banking, finance, insurance, government and telecommunications wherein he has developed and applied Industry-Specific Process Maps, Business Transformation Approaches, Capability Enhancement and Quality Strategies.

Dr. Unhelkar has authored innumerable executive reports, journals and 17 books. Recent Cutter executive reports (Boston, USA) include Psychology of Agile (two parts), Agile Business Analysis (two parts), Collaborative Business & Enterprise Agility, Avoiding Method Friction and Agile in Practice-a Composite Approach. He is also passionate about coaching senior executives, training, re-skilling and mentoring professionals (business analysts, agile practitioners, testers), forming centers for excellence and creating assessment frameworks (SFIA-based) to support these initiatives. Bhuvan’s customized industrial training courses/seminars/workshops add significant value to the participants and their sponsoring organizations as they are based on practical experience, hands-on approach and accompanied by ROI metrics (Blooms Taxonomy). He has designed and developed a flagship Business Analysis course for the CPe program of the Australian Computer Society’s distance education program which is now also a part of the ACSs short programs. Bhuvan is the winner of the Computerworld Object Developer Award (1995), Consensus IT Professional Award (2006) and IT Writer Award (2010). He is currently putting together Big data concentration (including Strategies, Technologies – Hadoop/’R’/NoSQL) for IT program in Univ. of South Florida, Sarasota-Manatee Campus, USA.

As a researcher, he has supervised PhD research and presented and published numerous papers and case studies and authored books. He has recently authored The Art of Practicing Agile: Applying Composite Agile Method and Strategy to Real Projects (Taylor and Francis/CRC Press, USA, 2013). His current industrial research interests include Business Analysis in the context of Agile, Big data and multi-disciplines and Environmentally Responsible Business Strategies. Bhuvan holds a Certificate-IV in TAA and TAE and is a Certified Business Analysis Professional® (IIBA).

Bhuvan is an engaging and sought-after speaker, a Fellow of the Australian Computer Society (elected to this prestigious membership grade in 2002 for distinguished contribution to the field of information and communications technology), Life member of the Computer Society of India, Past President of his Rotary club in St.Ives (Paul Harris Fellow – Sapphire Pin; AG), Discovery volunteer at NSW parks and wildlife, and a previous TiE Mentor.


周玲强,浙江大学管理学院旅游管理系主任,教授,博士生导师,管理学博士,浙江大学旅游研究所所长。现任中国旅游协会旅游教育分会副会长,教育部高校旅游管理类专业教学指导委员会委员,教育部旅游管理专业学位研究生(MTA)教学指导委员会委员,中国旅游研究院学术委员会委员,《旅游学刊》学术委员会委员。浙江省高等学校公共管理类、旅游管理类专业教学指导委员会副主任委员,浙江省旅游协会副会长,浙江省休闲学会副会长,杭州、珠海等地政府咨询委员。从事专业与研究方向:旅游开发与规划、旅游业管理、旅游地管理。主持国家及省部级重大课题10余项,各级政府和企业委托项目100余项,发表论著100余篇部。

Dr. Zhou Lingqiang is currently the director of Department of Tourism management, Zhejiang University. He holds a Phd degree of business administration and his research interests include tourism planning, tourism management, and tourist destination administration. He has directed over 10 national and provincial key research subjects and published over 100 papers and books. Prof. Zhou Lingqiang is also the head of Tourism Research Institute(TRI) of Zhejiang University, associate director of China Tourism Education Association(CTEA), member of Teaching Guiding Committee for MTA(Master of Tourism Administration) under Education Ministry of China, member of Academic Committee of China Tourism Academy, and member of editorial board for “Tourism tribune”. He also acts as the general secretary of Business Administration Tertiary Education Association in Zhejiang Province, the vice president of Zhejiang Tourism Association, the vice president and general secretary of Zhejiang Leisure Studies Association. In addition, he has been a consultant to 11 provincial governments in both coastal and western China and successfully finished over 100 consulting programs.
